E- Safety Project

  On the 28th May, 2023, we are on the way to Helsinki to meet our Erasmus+ project partners; Learnmera Oy, Ceip el Peral and IC “G. Pagoto”.   After a long and enjoyable trip, we have landed in Helsinki. The weather was great. We had a chance to see places close to our hotel.   On 29th of May, we have met our friends. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and we had a meeting about the programme of Helsinki. Eija Laine from Finnish National Agency for Education presented us about the Finnish school system. After the presentations, we had a chance to taste traditional food of Helsinki at a great restaurant and then we had a sightseeing of the city.   The second day, our hosts gave presentations about cyberbullying and e-safety. Visiting Helsinki Central Library Oodi was one of the most amazing moments of the week.   The next day we have visited Heureka. Heureka is a Finnish science center in the north of Helsinki.   We went on workshops among the teachers and discussed the dissemina

  In the third mobility in Finland we had the opportunity to learn about the organization of the Finnish school system and the strengths that make it qualitatively effective. Of particular interest was taking note of the school rules governing the use of cell phones at school   and it was noted that in Finland more space is given to preventing the problem.

  We landed in Helsinki and the first thing that struck us was that the weather was really nice. With our suitcases we drove halfway across the city to our hotel in a modern area in front of the harbour. In spite of our tiredness, we looked for a place to have dinner and then go to bed and start the next day with our mobility, but the night never ended and the light made it quite difficult to sleep. Thus began our stay in the Scandinavian country. During the week we attended the lectures that showed us the Finnish education system and we worked on the project together with our collaborating partners. We also had time to get to know the city with its Russian origins and in contrast its more modern part with amazing buildings such as the library or the Sibelius monument . We visited the Heureka science museum, located on the outskirts, where we conducted experiments and experienced the magic of its planetarium.  Learnmera Oy had the opportunity to arrange and host LTTA in Finland.  LTTA took place from 28 May to 3 June in Helsinki. In addition to project planning, evaluation and dissemination, the program included the presentations about Finnish education and e-safety.  During the LTTA, Eija Laine gave a presentation to the project partners about the Finnish school system.   Two cybersecurity experts presented their thoughts and work about cyber security during the LTTA.  The LTTA program included a day trip to Tallin by boat and a visit to Heureka, which is a Finnish science center in the north of Helsinki. Partners were also invited to visit traditional places in Finland: Parvoo, Soumelina island and discover our maonuments and our traditions.
