E- Safety Project

 

  This mobility represented the final moment of a relationship of collaboration and cultural exchange which enriched the professional skills of all the partner teachers.  The visits to the area were a precious moment of human and professi onal growth.

  It is spring now and we are in March. The nature is waking up and we are on the way to Erice/Trapani for our second mobility of the Erasmus+ Project (LESADIWO) that will be held at IC “G. Pagoto”. The trip was long but enjoyable. On the 19th of March, we landed in Palermo and arrived in Trapani late in the evening. The weather was really nice.   We were very excited about meeting the friends from Spain, Finland and our host Erice Team. On the first day of the meeting (20th March,2023), our friends from Erice welcomed us warmly.After the welcome ceremony, we have visited the school, classrooms, labs and met with the students who presented us songs, activities about our topic; e-safety. In the afternoon, sightseeing in Trapani was amazing.   The second day our hosts took us to Erice a medieval   town which we loved very much.We had chances to taste local food, drinks and desserts.   After reflecting upon  all the activities done during the first mobility and the online meetings carried out with all the partners, we prepared all the necessary reports, videos and activities for the following mobility in Erice (Sicily). We were very excited  about working with our partners again and getting to know the school, teachers, other staff and students in Pagoto School.  During that week, we enjoyed meeting teachers, students´ activities and performances related to Cyberbullying.  The highlight of the school was de STEAM Lab., where all the partners learnt about several programmes, devices, 3D printing with the help of students and the lab. coordinator.  We were enriched by the big number of cultural activities planned such as, Erice and the wonderful lunch at the Instituto Instruzione Superiore "I.e V. Florio" in Palazzo Sales; a guided  visit to Trapani and the Pepoli Museum and a trip to Salemi where we tasted typical pastries. Last day...

  During the mobility in our country, the topic of cyberbullying was addressed with the administration of questionnaires intended for students, families and teachers.  It was very interesting the study of the results obtained that allowed the partners to make comparisons between the levels of awareness of the phenomenon achieved in their respective countries.  At the end of the activities, discussions and teamwork made it possible to identify the seriousness of the phenomenon among the students of each country and the difficulties in counteract it.

  The first mobility in Valladolid was an opportunity for us partners to master relationship strategies with students, in order to make our educational intervention more effective. We appreciated the involvement of Spanish pupils in activities related to the development of digital skills and the correct use of social media. A valid contribution to the project was the training intervention implemented by the Finnish team.
