TURKISH TEAM IN HELSINKI

On the 28th May, 2023, we are on the way to Helsinki to meet our Erasmus+ project partners; Learnmera Oy, Ceip el Peral and IC “G. Pagoto”.

 After a long and enjoyable trip, we have landed in Helsinki. The weather was great. We had a chance to see places close to our hotel.


 On 29th of May, we have met our friends. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and we had a meeting about the programme of Helsinki. Eija Laine from Finnish National Agency for Education presented us about the Finnish school system. After the presentations, we had a chance to taste traditional food of Helsinki at a great restaurant and then we had a sightseeing of the city.


 

The second day, our hosts gave presentations about cyberbullying and e-safety. Visiting Helsinki Central Library Oodi was one of the most amazing moments of the week.



 The next day we have visited Heureka. Heureka is a Finnish science center in the north of Helsinki.

 


We went on workshops among the teachers and discussed the dissemination activities and the next visit to Turkey.

 Visiting Tallinn was a great experience for us. Travelling by cruise and visiting the historical monuments of Tallinn, tasting traditional food… We really loved the day. On the way back to Helsinki we have evaluated the LTTA and were presented our certificates. Kiitos kaikesta kaverit.

TURKISH TEAM IN VALLADOLID

  As Turkish team, we have attended our first LTTA in Ceip el Peral / Valladolid / Spain for our Erasmus+ Project “Learn E-Safety and be safe in the Digital World” (LESADIWO) Project No: 2021-1-ES01-KA210-SCH-000032341 between 20 – 24 November,2022. After a long trip, we have met face to face with our ‘online’ friends.  After a warm welcome, we visited the classes, met brilliant students and their presentations on e-safety and cyberbullying. We have presented our school, city and country by the videos that we have prepared. We have joined many workshops with our partners and the students. Besides the activities held at school we had opportunuties to visit museums, cultural visits to Simanca, La Casa de Cervantes and so on. The Youth Department of the Valladolid City Council accepted us and gave us brief information what they do about e-safety. VALLADOLID TEAM IN HELSINKI

  We landed in Helsinki and the first thing that struck us was that the weather was really nice. With our suitcases we drove halfway across the city to our hotel in a modern area in front of the harbour. In spite of our tiredness, we looked for a place to have dinner and then go to bed and start the next day with our mobility, but the night never ended and the light made it quite difficult to sleep. Thus began our stay in the Scandinavian country. During the week we attended the lectures that showed us the Finnish education system and we worked on the project together with our collaborating partners. We also had time to get to know the city with its Russian origins and in contrast its more modern part with amazing buildings such as the library or the Sibelius monument . We visited the Heureka science museum, located on the outskirts, where we conducted experiments and experienced the magic of its planetarium.
