E- Safety Project

This is the last erasmus proyect activity: a great exhibition to our parners, our tasks, goals, activities related to deal with ciberbullying.

  This mobility represented the final moment of a relationship of collaboration and cultural exchange which enriched the professional skills of all the partner teachers.  The visits to the area were a precious moment of human and professi onal growth.

 A video resume with all the activities, workshops, cultural visits we have carried out during our trasnational mobilities.  Leraning more about our frinds, their culture, costumes and how life is in the different places we have visited.  Learning about their educational sistem, how they work, strategies, their problems with ICT and ciberbullying. MERSİN / TURKEY The last mobility of our Erasmus+ Project LESADIWO took place at Türk Telekom Primary School in Mersin, Türkiye. Within the scope of our Erasmus + Project "E-Safety" (Learn E-Safety And Be Safe In The Digital World), which we carry out together with Spain, Italy and Finland, we hosted our Project Partners at our School between 02-06 October 2023. We held the last meeting of our project at our school. In addition to writing project reports, we also provided our guests with the opportunity to make important observations about our city and country by taking social and cultural trips. The presentations and shows prepared by our students and teachers were highly appreciated. Thanks a lot to all teachers, students and project partners who contributed to our project.

  On the 28th May, 2023, we are on the way to Helsinki to meet our Erasmus+ project partners; Learnmera Oy, Ceip el Peral and IC “G. Pagoto”.   After a long and enjoyable trip, we have landed in Helsinki. The weather was great. We had a chance to see places close to our hotel.   On 29th of May, we have met our friends. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and we had a meeting about the programme of Helsinki. Eija Laine from Finnish National Agency for Education presented us about the Finnish school system. After the presentations, we had a chance to taste traditional food of Helsinki at a great restaurant and then we had a sightseeing of the city.   The second day, our hosts gave presentations about cyberbullying and e-safety. Visiting Helsinki Central Library Oodi was one of the most amazing moments of the week.   The next day we have visited Heureka.   In the third mobility in Finland we had the opportunity to learn about the organization of the Finnish school system and the strengths that make it qualitatively effective. Of particular interest was taking note of the school rules governing the use of cell phones at school   and it was noted that in Finland more space is given to preventing the problem.

  It is spring now and we are in March. The nature is waking up and we are on the way to Erice/Trapani for our second mobility of the Erasmus+ Project (LESADIWO) that will be held at IC “G. Pagoto”. The trip was long but enjoyable. On the 19th of March, we landed in Palermo and arrived in Trapani late in the evening. The weather was really nice.   We were very excited about meeting the friends from Spain, Finland and our host Erice Team. On the first day of the meeting (20th March,2023), our friends from Erice welcomed us warmly.After the welcome ceremony, we have visited the school, classrooms, labs and met with the students who presented us songs, activities about our topic; e-safety. In the afternoon, sightseeing in Trapani was amazing.   The second day our hosts took us to Erice a medieval   town which we loved very much.We had chances to taste local food, drinks and desserts.   After reflecting upon  all the activities done during the first mobility and the online meetings carried out with all the partners, we prepared all the necessary reports, videos and activities for the following mobility in Erice (Sicily). We were very excited  about working with our partners again and getting to know the school, teachers, other staff and students in Pagoto School.  During that week, we enjoyed meeting teachers, students´ activities and performances related to Cyberbullying.  The highlight of the school was de STEAM Lab., where all the partners learnt about several programmes, devices, 3D printing with the help of students and the lab. coordinator.  We were enriched by the big number of cultural activities planned such as, Erice and the wonderful lunch at the Instituto Instruzione Superiore "I.e V. Florio" in Palazzo Sales; a guided  visit to Trapani and the Pepoli Museum and a trip to Salemi where we tasted typical pastries. Last day...

  During the mobility in our country, the topic of cyberbullying was addressed with the administration of questionnaires intended for students, families and teachers.  It was very interesting the study of the results obtained that allowed the partners to make comparisons between the levels of awareness of the phenomenon achieved in their respective countries.  At the end of the activities, discussions and teamwork made it possible to identify the seriousness of the phenomenon among the students of each country and the difficulties in counteract it.

On 21.11.2022, the first LTTA meeting began in Valladolid, Spain. For 5 days, all the project partners met and together participated in various activities aimed to pass on the message of what the E-safety project is for, with one of the main target groups, the students. The CIEP El Peral school, coordinator of this project, prepared an excellent LTTA with numerous workshops on various topics, such as the presentation on Cyber Bullying made by the Finnish partner as well as internet security, carried out by the local police through a presentation made for the students, both activities had the opportunity to be featured in the local news, which provided this project with a wide spread in terms of dissemination.   The Finnish partner also had the opportunity to present a learning resource tool, The Language Menu website for teachers, explaining to everyone present how it works and what they can do with all these tools available completely free of charge.   The first mobility in Valladolid was an opportunity for us partners to master relationship strategies with students, in order to make our educational intervention more effective. We appreciated the involvement of Spanish pupils in activities related to the development of digital skills and the correct use of social media. A valid contribution to the project was the training intervention implemented by the Finnish team.

  As Turkish team, we have attended our first LTTA in Ceip el Peral / Valladolid / Spain for our Erasmus+ Project “Learn E-Safety and be safe in the Digital World” (LESADIWO) Project No: 2021-1-ES01-KA210-SCH-000032341 between 20 – 24 November,2022. After a long trip, we have met face to face with our ‘online’ friends.  After a warm welcome, we visited the classes, met brilliant students and their presentations on e-safety and cyberbullying. We have presented our school, city and country by the videos that we have prepared. We have joined many workshops with our partners and the students. Besides the activities held at school we had opportunuties to visit museums, cultural visits to Simanca, La Casa de Cervantes and so on. The Youth Department of the Valladolid City Council accepted us and gave us brief information what they do about e-safety.
